I don't know about you guys, but I remember getting the brochure advertising Satin 'n Lace and "her cousin, Baby Lucky, the very first BOY pony".   To be honest, I did not find this strange in the least at the time, nor did I wonder at the lack of a groom.  (Tux 'n Tails was not released until several years later.)


But obviously the UK comic creators were more diligent about answering this question!  Where DID the "very first boy pony" come from?  Read on, my friends, read on.

I was always always under the impression that it was the Pony-Queen qho laid the eggs from where the baby ponies hatch.

Um. . .  Is anyone else concerned that Lucky will feel purposeless at some point in time because he was conjured to be Spike's birthday present?  Granted, the rest of he baby ponies came from he magic mirror so. . .  Maybe he'll fit right in.  :)

Are you kidding.  When he reaches adulthood, he'll be the one boy among a dozen girls. He'll think he's died and gone to heaven.

Besides, we all know he came about when Majesty indulged in too much cider when she visited Misty Peak.  She was just looking for an opportunity to "conjure" him up.

Some cute art in this!  I like the views in the bottom of the second page, where you can see two of a pony's cutie marks simultaneously; and the third-to-last panel is funny: "MAJESTY used HORN DRILL!"  ^.^
