Angel Bunny is totally the G4 revamp of Moochick's Rabbit.

I had wondered that too about Angel and the G1 rabbit.  I much prefer the Moochick's rabbit over Angel though.  I also thought Angel was a boy.  Surely Fluttershy has referred to him as "him" at some point?

Angel Rabbit is def a boy.  In one of the earliest eps of Season 1 FIM Fluttershy clearly says, "Um, Angel's a boy."  I can't remember which but now it's gonna BUG me . . . !!!!

Angel's definitely a boy; he's been referred to as a boy in multiple episodes.

And he totally reminds me of Habit also.

I think I remember three different versions of Habbit the Rabbit. He's appeared brown without clothes (ears down like a lop), brown with suspenders (ears up), and white without clothes (ears up). I think the three versions come from the movie, Firefly's Adventure special, and the cartoon (respectively). Hahaha he's versatile!

Maybe he's one of those arctic hares that change color depending on the season.

angel is definatly male..and quite the lil...umm...plot.....shy refers to him as a male in several episodes...such a sweet pony with such a bad bunny...just want to smack him

Habbit was white in the movie and I think also white during at least some of the MLP & Friends episodes.

You're right, he and Angel must be related somehow!  I'll bet Angel is his distant descendant.

Hah!  You are right!  I had forgotten about Moochick's rabbit until you mentioned it.  Same personalities!  They both communicate using gesture's instead of words.

Yes, I remember Habbit only had pants in Rescue At Midnight Castle, and then he got a redesign in The Movie that lasted through the whole TV series, only he flip-flopped between colors about as often as the Bushwoolies flip-flopped over whether they had rainbow arms.

I've never seen the original Angel bunny before. But he is adorable!!

OMG I didn't think of that, you're totally right! I don't know if whoever came up with that character thought of it but they are so similar lol .

OT but I  put my vote in that Angel is a boy.

I just watched "Quest of the Princess Ponies" and Habbit is white in that one. : )
I do prefer Habbit over Angel. Angel is a bit of a jerk and i never really thought Habbit was mean.

i think habit looks cuter and way nicer in his little suspender pants, than how he looks after that. i think its the eyebrows that make him look not very nice.

Looking at those screenshots, I think the second Habbit takes after Disney's Winnie-The-Pooh's Rabbit a little.
