Shipping: US -> International USPS Flat Rate Priority Padded Envie

Just thought I would share an option. I ordered and just received the new USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail Padded Envelopes.


They fit 3 G4 Fashion Style Ponies (loose) with a little room for more padding. Shipping costs are $16.95 worldwide and can be tracked. May not always be the cheapest option but can be pretty fast.

Small Flat Rate boxes hold up to 3 regular G4s and ship for about the same, if anyone wants more structure to their packaging (i.e. for customs).

Good to know. International shipping out of the US can get really expensive.

Anyone have experience with other carries out of the US?

I've just always sent stuff through the USPS never had problems I've set to Sweden, Australia, and England.

Me too, I've shipped to Mexico, Canada, and France as well as the above and they've never lost a package or delivered anything late. I've never really had a reason to look into other carriers

The flat rate padded envelopes sound awesome! And less flimsy than the cardboard envelopes.

You may want to double check your information regarding the tracking - I'm pretty sure the flat-rate envelopes are not trackable (only the medium and large flat-rate boxes are).

They also *cannot* be insured.

[/size]First Class Mail International®, Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelopes, and Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Boxes do not have Insurance as an option but, depending on the destination, you may be able to send them Registered, which includes Indemnity (Insurance) coverage.

Ugghhh....Registered Mail is $11.75. Certificate of Mailing is $1.10 (These prices are for Flat Rate envelopes, small boxes, USPS Priority *and* First Class Large Envelope International)
