Is my new Celestia a prototype?

I've just bought myself two new FS Celestia's as I was intending to customise one of them but one of them is different.


She has four hair colours, not just three. She has a blue section at the very front, like water nixie colour. She also has no tinsel in her hair or her tail.


She doesn't have any glitter on her horn, symbol or wings.


Also, her eyes are underlined with pink at the bottom instead of black.


Having the two here, it's nice and easy to compare.


I was wondering if she may be a prototype? She is not on Strawberry reef, or at least, I can't find her, and I have a variant luna with the same thing, ie, different hair and no glitter.

I think it's new Celestia, she will be released January 2013, according to bigbadtoystore.com

These look like the 2 which have been floating around on Taobao and now have been confirmed as the next Princess Fashion Style waves...different hair and no tinsel! Congrats - guess you are ahead of the times!

Woo:) It's nice to see some of these variants being produced, it'll be much easier to get them. I hope they do it with more of them too.

She is new! And will be out in stores soon.


You can go ahead and customize her if you want. There are lots floating around in China, just waiting to be shipped to stores.

Oh yes that does look like the "Pony Wedding" version of Celestia...
I'm glad I got the Canterlot Ver. now. That pink under the eye looks really odd to me. I wonder if we will see the white FS Celestia that has been seen on taobao. I think that one had a similar under eye thing going on though...

Rumors say there's a white Celestia that will be a TRU exclusive this year? Will that be the talking one or the FS I wonder?

No the TRU white Celestia is the same mould as the original talking Celestia...

butbutbutbut... Wow..I feel so lucky I just read this. I was litterally two minutes away from de-tinsel my Luna and Celestia O__O I say with the tweezers in hand just now!

Now to the hard part - To sell the ones I have or try to trade them for this new version :/ ...or keep them and still get the new ones...But that'll feel uneccesery and space-consuming.... :/ *gaaaah!*

Hand on heart I completely expected the white FS Celestia to be this Wedding FS wave.

However, I ll now admit to being a little bit worried on this...before the correctly haired white Celestia appeared on Taobao we got Celestia with Rarity hair...so the more I see the continuing pink trend the more I wonder if white FS Celestia really is one of the Factory Frankenstein ponies.
