Help IDing a doll

A while back I was at a HUGE yardsale, whilst walking down the street were everyone had their selling stands a li'l gal caught my eye. I do not have a picture at this time, but I can post one later.
She is red haired and have disney-esque eyes standing about 20 cm tall. Quite big blue eyes with painted big lashes and is stamped Japan nothing more to go on sorry.

She don't have anything except that japan stamp. So I'm quite lost. No clothes either sadly.

She look's like she could be a SSC knockoff.

If she's marked Japan, she's probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s.  She doesn't look familiar, but she may have been a 'baggie' type doll that would have been sold in a five and dime store..  I have a few of these, though none look like yours.
