how to use taobao site

I see people finding ponies. I have it set to translate to english but I can't find a single pony. It for some reason only wants to look in the baby section too..  the newhumantaobao.com site doesn't work


please help as I really want a Sweetie Blue  (normal size not blind bag) and I think this site will be the first to put them up if they every come out.

Oh you need a Chinese agent to order on your behalf to order from the "grey market"/ factory tests from Taobao!  It's not like Ebay or Amazon.

When I search I just type "hasbro pony", then if I spot something I contact a taobao agent. There's many out there but they may not be very reliable. The current one I'm using require registration at their website and they take payments via paypal. I had some difficulties with them due to the sad fact that their data server crashed and data was lost, do I had to mail them about my order and be very specific about my items ordered. They offered a refund or discount for the shipping(I chose the latter).
I did spot a Sweetie Blue earlier but the next hour she was gone! She is one of the ponies that are quick to go.

I can buy things for you if you want.  I am a little concerned about things being posted to me at the moment as I've never had mail here, and trying to convey to people what I mean when I say I need my postage address is difficult.  But anyways... assuming I can get mail ok, I have taobao, and a paypal account, so yeah... let me know

Yeah, Sweetie Blue was a lesson to me in "Don't get your hopes up".  The last ones that showed up on Taobao were in February. Somebody bought them and put them on Ebay and I missed out on them twice.


@Emfen, you found more? I would be curious to see what seller was selling it.


@Aednatia, don't be sad     Having Google Chrome helps a lot with the translating. A few tips are that the sellers rarely name lots by the pony's real name. Just generic searches like "hasbro pony" and "my little pony" find a lot of ponies. If you find a good shopping service in China, they make it easy for you.


You will end up paying a lot of fees (shipping to you, shipping in China, item price, service fee) but it is worth it if it is an item you can't get in your home country.

I've spotted some sellers with images of her often in group shots but it seems no one have her in stock at the time. If I spot her, I'll buy her and sell her here but I can't promise anything.

I think that's promising-Sweetie Blue!  I've also used taobao agents. I'm under the impression that is you try to order more than one, you get none.  Think about all the orders the agent needs to fullfil.  If I were an agent, I rather have 5 satisfied customers who ordered one, than one who ordered 5 IMO
