I love Abbey too. She's so gorgeous. I hope I can find the newest fashion packs--I adore those ice skate boots for her I really hope they'll show up in Canada soon. We seem to be sooo far behind on releases~

Had an absolutely terrible day for my anxiety (the day itself wasn't bad, but I was just feeling extra bad today)...so my fiancee was super nice and let me get the new CAM set.
Sadly it didn't make my day much better, but it did help a bit.

I love them more than I thought though. Just like the werewolf girl I have, they've got a certain personality to them, but no names yet. The cat girl is like my cat, spunky, sporadic, and gutsy (with a crazy fashion sense). The witch girl is a bookish type girl. She'd be your typical literature nut.

Just shyly butting in to say hi I just joined (I introduced myself properly over here) and I'm super excited to see there's a Monster High thread! I've been collecting MH for a year and really love them. Looking forward to talking dollies with you guys~

I thought about naming her Elphaba too since I love that musical, but I'm not sure. I at least have to get an Elphaba appropriate wig and outfit for her to wear though. But who would be Galinda?

I took down Operetta's top of the head curls today...love her sooooo much more. I want to straighten it but I don't have my straightener atm. Just for clarification - regular straighteners are okay on these girls, right? Or am I better off boiling it straight?

I would strongly recommend the boiled water method over a flat-iron. However, you can use a flat iron (make sure the temp is set to the lowest setting), but be cautious and don't let the iron stop moving; you don't want the hair to melt or burn. The benefit to using a flat iron is how sleek the hair comes out. But boiling is less risky, and done properly, can get the hair quite straight and smooth.

I don't know about straighteners, but I've read that sometimes their hair will melt if you boil it.

Thank you, Crimson and Bewilderness. I know their hair is different plastic than ponies and I figured I should ask first...glad I did!! Is there a good boil method tutorial anywhere that anyone knows about? I've never actually done it since straighteners work so well with ponies; I would hate to melt a new doll's hair

I just found your ANTM photoshoots Tuneful--so awesome and your ghouls look amazing! Now I want to go re-dress and re-pose and re-arrange my whole shelf  I love everyone's photospams, wow~ I can't wait to find the CAM witch, she is too precious.
