Non-MLP horse find, not sure what it is

That is an Our Generation horse that they sold at Target awhile back. :3 They retailed for about $30 I believe.

Oh! At last, someone knows what she is! Hey, since I have you all here, look what I found while digging out my camera! My old... uh... cat things? They say 1989 on the bottom, the purple one has a tail/hair you can pull one way or the other. Man I've had these two foreeeeeever. Whatever they are.

Little Pretty Kitties!  Those two are Purple Paws and Mimi.  Purple Paws is kind of like the brush and grows? you pull the tail and it gets longer, while the hair on top of its head gets shorter, and the other way around, too.

Wow, these two look so similar, Little Pretty Kitties and Curly Kittens. I'm no expert on either one, neadless to say.

It looks more like a knock off to me, ever since American Girl came out with horses, doll lines that size have been spittin em out by the dozens. The our generation horses all are fairly realistic looking from what I saw, whereas this looks more fantasy based,  so I think this is simply an off brand american girl sized horse. In any case she should be perfectly fine to customize I'm sure. I see stuff like this allll the time at the thrift store.
