I guess I'm really too critical of myself. Before painting it I disliked it so much for not getting "all" the details just right, I actually kinda hoped something would go wrong during the firing process since the base is so thin. I thought no hardcore MLP fan would think much of it.     Guess I was wrong!


It was a headache trying to finish during class hours. I think there is a ceramic supply store in the area that might fire projects for the public who don't own kilns. So maybe someday I will make a Paradise Estate and Lullaby Nursery Moonracer    Doing it at home on my own time will certainly be less stressful.

most hobby stores that specialize im model trains have sheets of white plastic in varying thickness, i believe its used to make building walls for their dioramas, easy to work with you just score and snap or dremel it for curves... you can prolly pick up a sheet of the right thickness for 10 bucks or so to make the door. =] looks fantastic. =] and if you ever wanted to make the bits you forgot about you can always go back and putty it later =]

Oh my goodness, that is fantastic!!!  It looks just like the plastic version!  I also can't imagine the amount of patience it must have taken to finish...  It really does look completely amazing!
