My first G4 ponywear *2 new outfits

I've been wanting to make some ponywear for a while, so I decided to try G4! I was going for a little 4th of July skirt, and I think it turned out pretty cute!

I'm going to try several other skirts, in the next couple of days hopefully, unless it really is going to be sunny like the weatherman says and then I'll be outside

I loved the denim/4th of July floral fabrics so much I wanted to try another style. I figured Cherry Pie was a fitting model for a 4th of July outfit.
I tried to make more of a saddle-style skirt. I cut the denim the wrong direction, though, so I got more of the white fringe rather than the soft blue I prefer (like in the above skirt). I think next time I am going to try cutting it on the bias to get a mix of both fibers in the fringe

I also tried out some new fabric that is really soft and drapey. I think it turned out well in this skirt!

Thank you for all the compliments! Today was indeed sunny, so no sewing time for me, but I've been daydreaming of designs all day! I'm excited to make some more.

The rain finally came back (two weeks of straight sun! I wonder if that's a record for Seattle) and I finally had a moment to sit down yesterday during naps and throw together a couple more outfits. I've got a cool evening gown idea in my head I'm dying to try but I just need to find the right fabric.

Anyway, hope you all like my new creations!

These are really great! I especially like how elegant the dress looks. Must be difficult to sew for such tiny bodies, and make them look so nice!
