Which Pony Wear items/sets are HTF?

If you are talking "the most hard to find item" then I think its the teeny tiny easy to loose pieces - the hair bobble from Abracadabra, the hair elastic from Rocking the Night Away, Megans shoes [from just about any of her sets!].

But if you mean complete sets - the Elephant Suit & Party Dress with their pockets is very difficult to find complete as is Sidewalk Surfer and In the Centre Ring.

also, i remember reading somewhere that country jamboree (megan and sundance) was htf, is that still true?

I don't know if there is a difference with the Country Jamboree outfit sold loose and the one sold in a boxed set with Megan & Sundance.

I had a heck of a time upgrading the overalls- then some how managed to have 3 sets of overalls! Like Cat said I think Megan's glasses (which I still needs) and her shoes are the most difficult to find!

The mouse pocket pal was the last one I acquired, so I think it might be true what Cat said.

I'm also having a heck of a time trying to get the headbands for Galaxy Glamour.

The cup for Milk and cookies was pretty hard to track down too.

Non-broken earrings for From the Designer Collection don't seem to come up a lot.

Most of the Megan and Sundance wear is popular. I've had trouble getting the shoes for them especially. TAF Megan and her dress are probably the most sought after because people who aren't collectors don't identify her as MLP as often as easily identifiable movie Megan. U.K. Megan's various aprons are also pretty popular.

I'm not an expert on this, not at all, but I fell in love with the pony-naut outfit a while ago and it doesn't seem to be that common, especially not the helmet. But then again I haven't been actively searching for it, just looking  for it once in a while ... and not that often.

Oh yes Chip! The cup from Milk and Cookies....that is a nightmare to find...

The Costume Wear and Jewelry Wear sets are less common than the earlier clothing sets, in general.  Seconding the Elephant/Lion/Nightgown/Party Dress sets being far more difficult to track down than the very common first set of 8 baby Pony Wear.  All of the pom-pom animals aren't too easy to get in good shape.  Paintbrush from Pretty As A Picture was elusive for me.


The pieces with sequins, feathers or that were generally fragile (like Best of the West's hat) are the most likely to be found damaged.

I agree with the said above but wanted to add the knee pads for Sidewalk Surfer have been a toughy for me.

The MOC  Party Time outfit with white "furr" and white crown. (UK Pony Outfit) .. It's hard to find loose, but very rare as MOC! The one with red furr and crown shows up on ebay from time to time though..

I have been looking for the white one MOC for ages!

Gosh yes...we got some fab extra wear over here...not including the variant pieces

Carnival outfit, Bedtime outfit [x 2], Party Time outfit [x 2] were all items which the US did not get and some releases like the Rainy Day outfit is still yellow with red trim but a heavier plastic and a slightly different design

The necklace from Hearts & Candy always seems to be missing, along with the hairband from Galaxy Glamour and the clear helmet and backpack from Pony Naut.

I don't think I've ever seen that one MOC! The red one is reasonably common as far as MOC Ponywear goes, but don't recall seeing the white one.

I agree that the costume wear sets are rarer generally, and some of the pieces aren't obviously MLP so they get separated easily. I had difficulty getting the hat from Pony Holiday loose, as it's also very fragile (and mine isn't in great shape, but I've not been able to upgrade!) The headband for Galaxy Glamour was tough too.
