I would have said higher than that myself... princess variants seem to be quite popular these days, and as pkw says, the second set ones don't pop up that often!

And my random question for the day...the first set of Princess variants tend to be a UK thing is that right? So as the UK didnt get the second set of Princesses....are their variants just more random factory mistakes from US lines?

the put together variants are UK only we got the first set of princesses as normal release and as the put together variants. the uk also got the second set of variants as the put together kind, these were not released any where esle. i believe the second set princesses as regualr issue were not released in UK and europe.

the only other variants of the second set princesses are the mexican prince ponies who are versions of dawn, misty and moondust.

Thats good to know pkw... I wonder how many 2nd set princess variants were made as you sure don't see them around often

you mostly seem to see the dawn variants followed by princess moondust variants. the sunbeam and misty varaints are the hardest to find in my experience. taffeta has only two variants, but they are only little difference so i think she slips through the net.
