My car's ac is broke too..  It's not SO bad when you get used to it, but when it gets almost to 100f, it sucks.  lol.

Mine is pretty much planned out.  Now to start her after Metrocon.  lol.

One of the first injuries of the swap.  I've lost a large chunk out of the middle finger of my left hand.  No pics... too gross.  But I am ok. I was working on an armature design and I thought my finger was clear of the wire cutters.

Thanks! It's not on my dominant hand so I don't think it is going to hinder me much.  I was using a wire cutter to section and groove small pieces of plastic so that I could use the notches to slide them into place in my armature.  I was holding it with my left hand and cutting with my right.  Unfortunately, the tip of my finger got in the way.

I am completely done with sculpting, next would be a FBR but I'm not sure how to do it. For now I have done them with a brush or a make up sponge, but I'm itching to try my airbrush.

Hey guys! I just received a custom from another swap (and I LOVE her btw), and the package was wrapped up with packing peanuts to keep her safe (which is fine) but my dogs and son keep trying to get into them and eat them.  So if possible from now on I'd like to avoid packing peanuts where I can.  I was hoping my partner could use something else to cushion. If not that's fine! I'll just pitch the packing peanuts quickly before they are seen by my critters, but it's something I never though of until this moment.

thank you for the warning!  also just got a package with them, i can totally imagine how popular they are in your household.
every other wrapping is so much easier to store and handle.
but the package shall be a nightmare after all, right?

I never use peanuts to pack customs. almost never did it once and it arrived broken so never again.

this custom is coming along well but I still need to strip the old paint off. the body but wow this has been fun. doing alot of new stuff with this pony that I have never don before so I am hoping when it is done it is one awesome pony. an that its new owner loves it when they get it in October.
