Gusty & Glory G4s

Howdy ya'll! I finally finished these little gals that have been in limbo for awhile. Gusty and Glory, the white unicorns from Generation 1, have been reimagined as G4s!

Their eyes have been repainted to be as faithful to the G1 style as possible, while still fitting the G4 eye style (and those unicorn eye molds... *shakes fist*). The eyes and symbols have been painted with regular and metallic acrylics, then sealed with Mod Podge. Gusty has been rehaired in Dollyhair's Sea Nymph and Sugarberry, and Glory sports Sour Grapes and Water Nixie. Their colour streaks even occupy that unique and perplexing third row of plugs, just like their G1 counterparts. Their heads still turn!

EDIT: They are both now SOLD, and on their way to their new homes! Thank you everyone for all of the compliments and encouragement!

I just saw this comment in the first post... and you know... when I had a custom Gusty made in G4 style, I begged for different eyes... because I can't stand those unicorn eye molds. You actually made them work really well, though.

Thanks! If I can find my mom's dremel tool I'm going to experiment with sanding them off. Or maybe it would just be easier to sculpt new horns...?

The one that was made for me uses a pinkie pie head with a sculpted horn. I have a lyra that is done that way, too ... and they look so much better with the normal eyes.
