Question about G2 Miss Teacher's Tie and G3 plastic

I love Miss Teacher....I seriously need to restrain myself from looking at G2s and their accessories...*must not collect...must not look* 
 

Give in, Cat, give in to the G2 temptation!!  They have some really great accessories, which I know you'll LOVE!!  Come on, this line has a SAILBOAT playset; how cute is that?!  And the flower swing that comes with Floral & Petal is to die for!!

Every single G2 thread brings me so much closer to the edge of caving in lol....*Sigh* sailboat....and the ones with the little musical instruments = love!

Yeah, those are adorable too; I don't have any of them yet.  Even the little clip-on wings are great, though they take some getting used to.  But I think they're really cute and fun; it's just a strange way to make a pegasus or winged uni!

This...the sailboat! My ultimate grail. I would seriously wet myself if I came across one for a reasonable price. Even if I was at a bootsale I would buy my bargain sailboat and walk the rest of the day with wet feet and a huuuuuge grin on my face.

Just got it recently, NM out of box; it's adorable!  Wasn't cheap, but I wouldn't have been surprised if the auction had gone higher either.

I don't collect g2s, either but those accessories. . .  man, I've been tempted at times.   

As for the g3s. . .  I just cleaned a Royalette and she has normal, squishy plastic.  And most of the Strawberry Swirls (I think I've had 3 or 4 pass through my hands) have had squishy plastic, too.  So, I don't think those ponies were originally made with particularly hard plastic.
