They just don't want to deal with foreign travel arrangements. Maybe they will do this again for conventions held in other countries.

I agree! Rules like this make me wonder what happened in the past that even sparked the idea that the legal department needed to include something that...odd. What exactly are the employees allowed to not remember?

I suppose they can omit aspects of a design when they remake it, or change things, then claim they forgot it didn't look like that originally? heh.

Personally I disagree, simply because (I think 40% it was?) of the score is calculated on ease of reproduction as an 18" model. I don't see hasbro attempting to dread hair, but that's just me

Does this mean that any submission, even a non-winning one, could in theory be "remembered" by them and used as a background pony without crediting the creator of the character? Because that would piss me off... not that I can enter, anyway.

I won't have time to do a full custom but I can at the very least give detailed sketches and hair swatches.
