@_@ it was, I cried. I've managed to pry most of them apart and fix the paint jobs on them, they look pretty decent again, but a couple of them were utterly destroyed

Well I'm glad you got most of them fixed.  I'll let someone else answer your question.  I've never had that happen so I'll let someone with a more interesting answer answer it.

A: Wish I had taken pictures, but I actually had a bunch of customs that I'd done a couple years ago and put them in a box, and when i opened the box a couple years later they were all stuck together in a big lump! the sealer I had used had become sticky and ruined all of them 


Q: Ever had a pet or child or family member, or yourself, break one of your favorite customs by accident?

A: Nope, no one touches my ponies and they are not low enough for the dog to get to

Q: Have you made butterfly wings on customs?

A: No, I have a lot more patience with sculpting wings or making them from found items. I have bought a few pairs from other forum members.


Q:what is the smallest pony you've worked on, and was it worth it in the end?

It was a little Applejack I made from a realistic type toy pony...I think it was worth it!  It was fun!  It was my first FBR too.

A: Do you prefer making a unicorn from an Earth or Peagsus mold...or just using a unicorn mold?  And how do you make the horns, if so?

A: Unicorn molds. I very rarely like the look of sculpted horns; the proportions are never quite right and they tend not to blend as cleanly as I like with the head. (There are plenty of customizers who use that as a design feature, and do it really impressively,  but for 'normal' horns it doesn't work for me.) I do, however, have one unicorn I made back before G3 unicorns existed, and that horn I made with air-dry clay (I think it was Paperclay, but it was a long time ago), adhered with mechanics' glue, and painted over as part of the pony's FBR.
 
Q: Brag time! What aspect or style of your customs do you look at and think, "Lots of people do x, but mine is the best (or one of the best, if you prefer)"?

A: I won't brag but more so express excitement about how much everyone has complimented my DOTD ponies. I guess they are a little "different" but I am proud of them. I actually am more excited with what I am working on right now and hope that gets a lot of positvie responses as well. I haven't seen anything like it on ponies yet so we will see!

Q: What is the most you have spent on a dollyhair order at one time.. and if you don't want to say price, roughly how many colors did you order at once?
