There are 2 yellow Moondancers - Hong Kong and Italy produced. Both are htf and I would say the HK one is slightly more popular.
They were released in Scandinavia alongside regular white Moondancer. Not sure on value but I'd say atleast $50
Allmost like that, but in Scandinavia we never got the white Moondancer to begin with ( not Glory, Twilight, Sunbeam or Medley eighter). Yellow Moonie was our standard Moonie.
My very first pony was white Moondancer (I'm Danish and I remember choosing her in the shop)
I've also found several at fleamarkets in Denmark. Can't say for the other Scandinavian countries though
I have found out that Denmark had a slightly diffrent range of ponies then what we had in Sweden and Norway (and possibly Finland)!
Among them it where Italian earth ponies ( probably the full set with Applejack, Bowtie, Bubbles, Seashell, Cotton Candy and Blossom) you might as well have had the Italian uni/peg set? My guess is that you got your first ponies around 1985/1986 as the rest of us did, and the first HK set with earthlings and uni/peg ponies wheren't in production this late. But Italy started to produce and export ponies around this time.
Do you remember if your Moondancer was the white Italian one or the regular HK one? ( you maybe still have her? )
