I didn't sculpt it myself or anything (I wish I could sculpt like that, lol!) - just painted an old figurine I had since childhood.
I'm so glad you liked everything, Ringlets!!!!! The quilt was so much fun (and a bit of frustration) to make. The pony blocks were done with fabric paints. The paint will never wear out or fade. The fabric behind it will fall apart before the paint does. (I know they are a little crunchy now, but they will soften up with use.) I used G1 coloring books as my templates. I photocopied the pictures I wanted to use, (and had to make a few changes to some) traced the back of the photocopy with a special transfer pencil and ironed the pattern onto the fabric. From there I hand painted each block. I needed my mom's help with the binding (so shout out to Mom here, Thank You!) But the whole thing took me about six weeks to make. I am exceeding proud of it. It came out so well! I am strongly thinking about making one for myself with my own favorite pony characters. The Tangled custom and Crystal Ringlets were done by Lucky4leafclover. The Ringlets came to me with two tiny bite marks on her face. Personally, I can handle marks or flaws on most ponies, but not right on their face! So this was my brainstorm to give her an upgrade! She certainly is unique! I'm so glad you liked everything!!!!!! I have been chewing my nails for the last week and a half waiting for that box to arrive!
