ARMY SWAP 2012 BRAG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad you liked everything, Ringlets!!!!!   The quilt was so much fun (and a bit of frustration) to make.  The pony blocks were done with fabric paints. The paint will never wear out or fade. The fabric behind it will fall apart before the paint does. (I know they are a little crunchy now, but they will soften up with use.) I used G1 coloring books as my templates. I photocopied the pictures I wanted to use, (and had to make a few changes to some) traced the back of the photocopy with a special transfer pencil and ironed the pattern onto the fabric. From there I hand painted each block. I needed my mom's help with the binding (so shout out to Mom here, Thank You!) But the whole thing took me about six weeks to make. I am exceeding proud of it. It came out so well! I am strongly thinking about making one for myself with my own favorite pony characters.

The Tangled custom and Crystal Ringlets were done by Lucky4leafclover. The Ringlets came to me with two tiny bite marks on her face. Personally, I can handle marks or flaws on most ponies, but not right on their face! So this was my brainstorm to give her an upgrade! She certainly is unique! 

I'm so glad you liked everything!!!!!! I have been chewing my nails for the last week and a half waiting for that box to arrive!

Those Army Swaps look so fantastic!! I've browsed through the entire thread, and so far none of the swaps I've seen here are disappointing. Just the opposite: they're so awesome!

YAY!!!!! I am so glad you got it safely salemsparkler, and especially that you and your kitty liked everything! Sorry I didn't include anything for your adorable baby - I really don't know anything about babies so I didn't know what I could do.

Those were my very first rehairs ever... and I am now absolutely addicted to rehairing! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to do them. And that figurine was a glow-in-the-dark unicorn figurine I had had since I was a child. It was so much fun giving her new life as Sparkler and knowing she would be going into your lovely collection!

I was watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II as I wrapped up all your stuff! LOL, love that movie.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the figurine. I didn't sculpt it myself or anything (I wish I could sculpt like that, lol!) - just painted an old figurine I had since childhood.

  to say I liked everything would be a  reeeeeaally biiiiiiig understatement   its all amazing!!   (I just wish my stooopid internet hadnt made a mess of the brag *throws fakies at old computer!    *)
Oh wow I knew a lot of work went into the quilt!   its just so beautiful!! the colors and the pictures are perfect!!  thank you so much for putting in all that time and effort (and thankies to your mom too!   )    .it is really beyond awesome!! My family are all really impressed as well!!   hey looks like you have people lining up for your work if you ever decide to take commissions!  
Please  will you thank Lucky for me for doing the Tangled custom and crystal Ringlets? she did great!   I have no problem with chew marks ,  but I'm lovin' the unique design that resulted from you not liking the chews !!
