Charity shops in London?
« on: April 19, 2012, 07:29:05 AM »
Hello !

I've been meaning to ask this for a while. Anyway, is anyone in living in London that might know any charity shops or something that might have ponies for sale? I don't have much time to go around trying to find them at the moment and so far I haven't got any luck at all from the little amount I searched. I heard that Oxfam doesn't allow toys to be sold there?

Thanks in advance ! :)

I don't know where you heard that about Oxfam, but toys are sold in almost (if not) every branch! The only rule is they must be CE approved (Otherwise they come under collector items/homeware) :)

As for your question though, I'd love to hear the answer. I've never really been able to locate any when I've been!

I've never actually been to any in London, so I'm not sure, but I do know that it's very hard to find ponies or any collectable toys in charity shops now.... It does happen but honestly I'm noticing it's getting harder and harder, after charity shopping for ponies and dolls for 6 years :faint:

Bootsales are your best bet ;)
