All of the photos in this thread are gorgeous! Very inspiring!I just finished my very first rehair project: Beach Ball. (I didn't want to start a new thread, so I'm putting her here.) Originally, her hair was extremely frizzy, and just in between the nylon shades "water nixie" and "mermaid". Also, she had beginning tail rust. Before:visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo, I went for mermaid, because it looks so much like a swimming pool. And her symbols remind me a lot of swimming pools. Also, I wanted to try out that colour changing hair! So here she is now:After:visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHer hair looks a bit on the wild side, I'm not so good at styling, but I think it suits her. Like fresh from the beach!
Oh the inspiration this thread is giving me. I just LOVE what everyone has done with their ponies. I used to be so against rehairing in alternate colors because it "defaced the value"... but honestly now I get it; they're like customs but with more of the original charm!Time to go buy up some ponies with really baity hair
