It looks like the response is overwhelmingly positive, thanks for your thoughts everyone! I will get started on this project soon, although I do have the semester to finish out in school. I should be able to work on this next month along with the Midwest pony meet page, and hopefully have things up and running by the beginning of June

Would it help to add the color/colors of each tail?  While folks might not have the actual tails, they may have enough leftover hair to make one.  KWIM?

Yes, definitely! I would love to include a section on newly made tails with color matches And also color matches will be necessary to know anyway since one tail could go to several ponies.

And I will most certainly need help with adding content, so thanks for the offers. I'm about to update the first post with help that I need. Please feel free to continue posting ideas related to this. I've decided to add a listing of people offering rehairing services too, since a lot of ponies that need tails also need manes

I have a baby pony that needs a tail. I tried to make her one out of some G1 hair I had but it came out a tad too short.  I have some tails. I need to figure out where I stuck them.
