Misnumbered blind bag :(

At the closest Wal-mart to my house, which by the way is a mess of a store, I have found that most the blind bags are already open.  I guess someone didn't want to bother with the numbers at all--lol.
 
And yes, the pink twilight sparkle was a factory error that only appeared in the first batches in Germany.  I had her, but sold her recently because I needed money.

A bunch of the bags were ripped up in one Walmart I went to as well, and someone had put a McDonalds twilight in there with them o_O she came home with me lol, I'm sure it looked like I was stealing xD

Well take a look at Ebay and people are selling their "unopened" bags naming the ponies in them. I can understand why Hasbro wanted to maybe have some more mystery.

Lol...I know...you would think if they were trying to force additional purchases by making it more difficult...they would also have mixed up the numbers! I guess it was just a change in production rather than any other conspiracy theory for the new coding! But hey thats HB I guess nothing more fun to them than confusing us all!

That's kinda rude, to open them in store. I wonder if you found them like that if you could ask for a discount for damaged goods.....

US blindbags have some extra numbers tacked on, but as banditpony pointed out, the second and fourth digit in sequence equal the UK number, which makes things much easier.
