anyone new at stretching ears?
« on: April 09, 2012, 03:41:01 PM »
hey I just thought I would post here because I'm sure I'm not the only pony with stretched ears.

I was going threw some old jewlery and decided my spirals need a new home since they take up too much room. I thought I would list them here as well just in case anyone was interested.

Both the spirals in the below picture are glass size 8g, I loved these especially the blue ones, I was very reluctant to keep stretching lol. The white spikes are size 4g acrylic, never used them becasue I dislike them and the only reason I have them is because they came with a pair of plugs.

the next ones, I'm only selling the white ones, the black/green are only there for size comparison. I made these out of glow in the dark fimo. so you should not wear them unless your ears are healed. these are more functional as a size 4g but if their biggest area is about a size 2. since they are hand made they are not perfect, the size difference is VERY slight, and there are a few nicks from me not rolling them out well enough, this is the first time iv tried making something like this xD honestly I dont think they are that noticeable and I really liked wearing these for a while.

I would sell the whole lot for $15, that price includes shipping.

While pretty- be careful with the acrylic in healing piercings.
You shouldn't wear the fimo ones at all unless you put them in stainless steel tunnels or something.

That being said- they're pretty. :D I plan on stretching my ears one of these days, but for now I"ll just admire.

er yeah im not a big fan of acrylic especially not spikes, iv just never liked the look xD

as for the fimo, iv seen a lot of fimo jewelry all over the place? I believe so long as your ears are healed it should be fine. I dunno I also wouldn't keep them in for like days at a time but thats just me and im obsessed with cleaning my ears xD

Well, fimo might be something you can wear for pictures, but that should be about it. There's too much stuff that can get caught in the clay and hurt your ears, not to mention clay itself can put bad stuff into your ears.
