Anyone have trouble with pony names?

I have a terrible pony name memory - google is my friend

Back in the early 2000s when I started for really real collecting (and by that I mean I was 11-12 years old and consciously decided to collect and learn more about G1s and discovered all the neat-o stuff on the internet) I was really good at pony names. Now I only really know the names of common ponies, and my favorite ones. I just can't keep it all in my head anymore.

Definitely! I never remember the sweetheart sisters or newborn ponies. They are some of my favorites but I just can't remember their names. I'm always looking them up.

I have the same.  exact.  problem.  I can never remember Sweetheart Sister names or newborn twin names.

I also have issues with g3 names if they include any variation of the words star, beam or twinkle.  There's just too many of them.

I have a few G3s that I keep forgetting their names (like 10 of them) because I got them at a time where I got a lot of ponies at once, so I couldn't get it all in my head at the same time. I also have a G2 that I'm constantly forgetting her name (Petal Blossom, I seriously just had to look her up on Strawberry Reef while typing this! ).

I know a lot of them but I have certain G1 sets that I can't seem to remember, mainly Baby Sea Ponies and Sweetheart Sisters for some reason. Or I'll know that one of the two ponies in front of me is called one thing and the other is called another thing but I can't remember which is which LOL

I've noticed that I can only remember the ones that I have, and even then, sometimes I forget. I keep wanting to call Lemon Hearts by Lemon Treat, and I can never remember if it's Easter Bonnet, Bashful Bonnet, Beautiful Bonnet, etc. for the G3 Easter pony.
