Wave Five - Only Six of Eight Showing Up?

My Wal-Mart and now my Meijers both seem to have Wave 5 (skipping Wave 4) and while they have the Mane Six ponies with the luggage, there's no sign of Cherry Pie or Diamond Rose. Since I already have the Mane Six, I'm a little disappointed by this. Is this happening in anyone else's area?

I haven't seen either of the luggage ponies new waves of blind bags here.


EDIT: I feel silly.  When I read wave I think of the blind bags, not the brushables. Silly me.

To my knowledge wave 5 is just the mane 6 with luggage and it's wave 6 with Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose (and Rarity and Fluttershy are left out). I haven't been able to find those two anywhere either as well. It's really frustrating that they have been found other places well over a month ago. I've been looking at least 1-2 times per week. Walmart, Target and TRU near me all have had luggage ponies but not Cherry Pie or Diamond Rose yet.

I've been able to find Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose just fine... I found them at CVS.

I'm in Southwest Michigan, Kalamazoo area.
We haven't seen the blind bags at all either. For that matter, we haven't seen any of the new Monster High stuff for this year either. I'm about to declare my area a toy dead zone. >.<

The two new characters (Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose) are included in what is being considered "wave 6." Wave 5 only consists of the mane 6 luggage ponies.

I also have a spare Diamond Rose MIB for $6.00 plus shipping if anyone absolutely can't find one in their area.

I've only been able to find Cherry Pie so far, which sucks because Diamond Rose is the one I really want.    Part of the problem is probably the fact that I've only been able to check two Targets so far, but the first Target I went to had two Cherry Pies but no Diamond Roses, and the other Target was stuck on wave four.

Yeah, I've had no problem finding Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose, though Cherry seems to be more common.

I got them both pretty early on. It could just be that they're getting snapped up as fast as they're put on the shelves because everyone has the mane six already? They are constantly out of stock on Hasbrotoyshop. I'm sure they'll show up.

Yes, thats right the Diamond Rose wave is
- Twilight Sparkle
- Pinkie Pie
- Rainbow Dash
- Applejack
- Diamond Rose
- Cherry Pie

It will make them tougher to track down as there will be 2 of the new ponies and another 8 of the original 6 [all of whom were out in the same version in the previous wave] in each "box"

I think HB just like making the searching tough...I have visions of evil Hasbro boffins sitting in their great Hasbro distribution office thinking of ways to torment us!

I live in Bay City, so maybe they will be here soon.


I have been finding blind bags at my WalMart, but no MH stuff here! I don't think they have restocked in months! D: Whenever I go there it is the same few items.

Also, only wave 6 ponies come with the DVD Applebuck Season so if you spot luggage ponies with the DVD, it means they came in the same box containing DR and CP.

I've found both Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie; Diamond Rose actually seems to be a little bit more common in my area.

However, I know the distribution of them seems to be spotty at best.  Hopefully, they'll turn up in your area soon.
