Celebration at Canterlot Castle in Europe
« on: March 27, 2012, 09:39:06 AM »
Just wanted to give a heads up to any European ponies out there... The Canterlot exclusive Celebration at Canterlot Castle (http://www.mylittleponynews.com/2011/06/celebration-at-canterlot-castle-playset.html) is now also available here (at least in The Netherlands). The packaging is different (pink and all mention of the Canterlot line is removed) but otherwise it comes with the same stuff only in color cariations (purple comb, different colored barettes) :) It costs 15 euros here :)

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, I couldn't find anything :)

Just LMK if anyone wants to see a pic, I opened mine already but I can make a snapshot of everything if anyone wants to see :)

Wohoo!  That's awesome it came here.  Unfortunately I thought "Target exclusive" actually meant "exclusive to the Target store" and bought it already last year >_<

Thanks for the info.   Anyone seen any Shine Brights like Fluttershy and Pinkie? I hope they show up, too!

That IS what exclusive is supposed to mean. >.>;; Which is kinda sucky for Target. They pay Hasbro and other toy companies a LOT of money to offer a particular toy exclusively. (However I don't feel too bad about sticking it to places like Target and Walmart, considering what these mega-stores do to local economy...)

Hmm looks like maybe Hasbro got around this by offering the set with different accessories, therefore making it technically a different set? Oh Hasbro... you know how to break all the rules, don't you... (Or maybe Target only signed an agreement to be exclusive in the US! You never know!)

I'm glad non-US people are seeing Twinkle Starbeam and light-up Twilight Sparkle, though! ^_^

Well, there always were some "target-only" ponies who got here during G3 (though a lot of them didn't).
We don't have Targets here so i doubt Target is going to care much. XD
But, hooray for Bart Smit! That means they might be in Belgium too. : D

lol that's true, perhaps the deal was only to be exclusive to Target in countries where Target is established.

They've been selling that at Tesco Direct for a few months now :) Kind of glad that it wasn't exclusive to Target, so at least non-US ponies can grab them!

Now if only they would bring us Shine Bright Luna too. I don't really want to pay 40 euro shipping for a big box with things i don't need and an extra Pinkie Pie. >.<

Now if only US/CAN could start seeing the int'l exclusives like Rainbow Flash and Daisy Dreams on our shores.

(Hasbro, you make me want to shake so many angry fists at you!!)

Grats on the Target "exclusive" coming out there, though! Hopefully you guys get the Shine Bright articulated ponies soon too.

Yeah I think "exclusive" is a by country thing...and it probably only rolls over if the store has outlets in different countries...a bit like MH Cupid who is Walmart exclusive therefore she becomes an Asda exclusive in the UK as they are the same retailer...however in the UK Target doesnt have a presence so HB have the right to resell "exclusives" to a different retailer...

But it sure makes finding what store has what very difficult!
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I found these for sale at a Tesco store in Stevenage - They were reduced from £19.99 to £9.99 :)
