Hey I was wondering if anyone knows what causes the LL dolls legs and arms to spot?

I would imagine it's just the plastic breaking down because they get sticky too. It's weird though. It acts like pony cancer, but looks more like regrind. :/

Regrind is very common in LLL.  I'm sure other types of plastic disintegration are as well but I have mostly seen the light spotty regrind.
