My pony is painted, rehaired, and currently at the spa getting a conditioning treatment.  Then she will have her hair styled and "make-up" applied, and be done!

I've almost finished A few touch ups here and there, sealing, then her hair needs a good wash and style add some embellishments and voila!

Oh, it's not the putting the tail in that's the problem, it's making the blooming thing... There's so many colours, and I'd like it to look individually striped like the mane, rather than large sections of colour. Don't think that's going to happen unless I lay out every lock though? Unless there's an easier way that I'm missing?

I might have a suggestion
When I'm trying to do that, I thread my wire through the tail hole and then add the first section of colour. Then I twist tie that bit of hair and push it off to one side. Then I do all the other colours in the same way. Then when its time to pull the tail through, I pull the wire in so the tail is 'tight' against the butt, I get the colours lined up exactly how I want them to look and pull. It can take some practice and sometimes it takes more than one attempt to get it right...

Well, it's getting into crunch time for me to get ready for my meet, so it looks like my partner is only getting one pony. I hope they'll live lol. And I did manage to get an non-pony extra done, so I'm happy =) I still haven't trimmed and styled my customs hair though *fails*

Finally working on this pony again... sculpting is close to 3/4 of the way done, still a big chunk to go though. And then painting.. dear lord the painting x_x

I started some of the design painting and am very unhappy with it, I am going to have to do a little thinking and try approaching it in a different way.
