G4 Fashion Style Applejack

Just received my G4 FS Applejack (yay!) and was planning on keeping her in the box but I am itching to get that ridiculous outfit off her! *must resist* lol


I don't think it suits poor AJ at all! Has anyone else thought the same?

Oh yeah, it is lame.  I kept the hat and painted it brown. :3

Oh, okay.  I saw this thread and went to check my eBay and I saw that I received feedback on a Fashion Style Applejack, so I thought you may have been the buyer.  Mine sold for $56.00 total.

Yeah, keeping her in box would allow her value to soar.  But there are many things about her to fix, the hat and freackles and all.  It's your call, but keep your eyes peeled in stores too; they're still releasing them.

I would think the odds of us seeing a re release on fashion style ponies is pretty good...HB certainly love to release popular lines and I would think this is one of them...its far too big and expensive a mould set for us only to get 8 or so ponies out of...although I hope on the next releases they get different outfits...

Her ebay price at the moment for a recently released item is wow high but hey if you want it go for it I say...

I would keep her in box if you wanted but in all honesty in years to come with the collecting community so large regrading FiM and so many people probably keeping theirs in box I dont think its going to make her super dooper rare and expensive so maybe you could keep her in box until you track another one down at a closer to retail price and then release one and keep the other mib?

Oh dear...I didn't realize FS Applejack was THAT unobtainable. I got her when she was still moderately common on the shelf, and not only did I open her, I modded her. ^_^;; (I don't like Applejack's eye decal, so i repainted it to be more in character). Ah well...she shan't be resold anyway, I love Applejack. Congrats on the buy!

You all may hate me, but I just bought one this morning for $17 at Walgreens.  It seems they have some old stock left here and there.  I would check around...


I think (like with most pony generations while they are current) that as the line draws new collectors, those new collectors want the whole line.  And since they were not active for the first half of the line, they are trying to get everything released so far. 

This usually doesn't create as big a spike in prices.  However, I believe Hasbro has gotten a little smart about this this generation, and I don't think they are releasing the same amount of certain ponies.  Like, for example, we are seeing right now with Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie.

Just my guess though, haha!

She's so expensive because she's no longer being stocked in stores, and there's no guarantee that the re-release will have the same accessories and packaging. Since this year's theme is the wedding, the FS re-releases might have wedding stuff.

I bought one loose from a member here, so I'm keeping my MIB AJ in her box ^^ I still need to find a loose hat though!

Yep, this is the only way to find her for a reasonable price, if she's been hiding in a back room until now I keep hoping TJ Maxx might get a few, but so far no luck.

Wow O_O I just got FS AJ in a swap box, and I opened her! She had a forelock! I didn't know Fashion Styles had forelocks!

I wonder if the next wave of FS ponies will include bangs or forego them like the recent regular size G4 brushables. If the new FSs don't have bangs this Applejack may become even more sought after.
