Miss Many Mistakes!!

Miss Many Mistakes, was so tiring, that I really did contemplate throwing her out a few times, lol.
Im rapt to say she is finally acceptable and can be put away now so I dont have to keep looking at all the problems I had, 
Firstly, this was my first try at clydie feet, there was not any issues there. But then I had this "great" idea to try out this magic paint, it needed 3 days worth of undercoats in black, then 3 days of over coats in the magic paint. Which you can hardly even see! Ive added so many pics of different angles, to hopefully show the 3 colour changes, It looks black inside, but outside when you turn it it goes blue, purple and green shimmery, really cool.
However, I sealed it, then tried to rehair it. Oh before this, the back legs stuck together as this magic paint really isnt ment for ponies, so prying that apart left a big white blotch, Rehairing her caused paint to crack off, along her hair line, and pulling her tail thru her hole cracked off half her bums paintwork, as you can see. I couldnt be bothered re painting her for a week, as I really didnt think that it was going to stay on at all, but didnt wanna throw her in the bin either, she looked so great in my head! So decided to cover up all the cracked off paint, with acrylics, hence her bum pattern, and everywhere she has little swirls is other areas she cracked off. This was my first try at curls, Im rapt in the mane, but need to practise more with her tail.
Sorry for going on an on, but felt I needed to explain this one first!!
Advice on how to do the tail better and also how to make the ends of the curls look better would be much appreciated!

Also...  I love the way you can see the shimmer on her (I can see the color change in the angles)  and I love the design on her (not to mention I am a sucker for any and all draft featherings).  =]  you did a wonderful job!

I really LOVE the paint for her body. I can see what you are talking about with the color changes, and I can tell that the pics don't do her justice.

As for the curls, just snip off the end bits that don't look good. It's not like you'll be combing them out once you have them set, right?

With the tail, I struggle with it too. Because there is a much smaller space to fit straws, I think I'm going to try smaller straws next time. And as I typed this, I had an idea. I may try it. I'll leave the tail extra long, then curl it. Then when the curls are done, just pull the tail inside a bit till the curls look all nice up top. Of course, this has the potential for horrible mistakes. Live and learn, right? I'll need to make the tail thick so it stays.. And I'll have to be careful when I pull.. cause every strand will need to pull the same, or screw up curls.

I have no clue about curls, I still have to learn too how to make them!
But I love all the body painting, she looks really nice!

shes so pretty! and my secret for curls (I cant seem to master the straw curl, it always looks weird!) I use a 3/8" tiny curling iron! Looks great! And when the hair is on the rod, I snip off the frizzy shorter fly aways. So when the curl is done, its smooth and even, then I trim the ends off and snip flyaways when Im done.

Very pretty.  I have used coffee stirrer straws on tails with good results.

I think she is Miss Many Learning Experiences! Lol.  She really did turn out awesome.  That coloring on her, is it enamel based (like nailpolish)?
