Can we talk about Breezies?

Ok, so as most you know by now, I only really collect wingers.  But I am looking to 'diversify' my herd and have recently acquired 2 little Breezies from a wonderful Arena member and I must admit I've really fallen for those little guys:)
So being a G1 collector who kind of missed the whole 2000-2006 generation, I don't know very much about them.  Can someone here school me in the Breezies??  What are they and where did they come from?  I've been looking at them on Strawberryreef.com and I have to know more!

Who is HTF?  Are there a lot of people collecting them right now?  Please dish:)

Awesome!! I thought about collecting them too when I finish the wingers! I didn't look into them too much, and it could be just me but I don't see them for sale very often in general.

ahh I love breezies. I knew nothing about them either until I got a couple with some g1s. I have collected a few more since then.
I know the breezies with the pastel coloured carts (zippy zana, orange flower sets, there is 6 in total) were released in nz however I dont know what other countries they were released in they werent however released in the us. They sell for about $15-20 with their carts. They can be quite htf

Day lily, knick knack and willow wisp were released in canada?

Snippity snap is really expensive because she was only released in a playset in the uk. She sells for $50-100 and I have only seen her come up for sale once in the last year.

The ones with the clear coloured carts (there are 6 with crowns) are really common and sell for $8 per set? maybe $10

Thanks for the info hun!  Wow, they are even more elusive than I thought.  I love the hunt, so this will be fun.  Do you have any pictures??

There are more of these made than I realized. I thought there were just the US sets and the UK one that is HTF. Interesting. I love them. I think they should ahve made more of them.

Ok somethings I learned.

There seems to be about 22 different breezies released. Dancing Daffodil, Darling Dayflower, Day Lily, Knick Knack, Lady Slipper, Orange Flower, Pink Petals, Purple Petunia, Rose Garden, Snippity Snap, Willow Wisp, Zippy Zinnia, and the second release of Zipzee were international exclusives.

As previously said, Snipppity is most expensive one.

I just recently bought wo sets from a local seller. with their carts and all
As far as I figured out, they are the most common ones, in clear carts (photos not mine):

and I absolutely love them! They are so cute I don't think I will be seeking the others out, especially since they are so expensive, and I think 6 + their carts is fine enough, but I would totally not mind if I ended up wit hall of them

Good luck tracking them down michelle...they certainly will fit your "winger theme"

I always thought their concept art looked better than the actual toy and how they were portrayed in the show. (For example, in the concept art they all had freckles.) It's a pity i can't track down the art anymore. >.<

Unfortunately, the breezies' plastic is notorious for fading. I have a few MIB and loose, and before they faded, I loved them. Now, they aren't so appealing (in my opinion). Even when kept MIB or MIP, the plastic still manages to loose color. Hence why so many will have their body a darker color than their heads. I have yet to see one that has not suffered this apparently natural change.
