Mash-up Swap ~Captive Moon~ for StarFaerie

This custom was fun to make and I really enjoyed working on her :)


StarFaerie had Star Catcher, Moondancer and Waterfire on her list and I had all kinds of ideas right away. In the end I decided to combine Star Catcher and Moondancer with just a tiny nod to Waterfire. The bait was kind of chewed up so I decided to try and hide the imperfections by sculpting a swilrly-do on her leg and the rest just followed from there.


I took the pinks and blues from Star Catcher and gave her gradients. She's also coated in silver with pearl white over that, it's subtle in person and impossible to see in the photos. The silver moon is glittery a la Moondancer and the red-ish stars (omg, I changed the color of those things a million times)  are also in her spirit. Hair is Fairy's Breath, Arctic Frost and Razzle Dazzle, left long and luscious.


Oh. The nod to Waterfire are the small stars in her eyes :)

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I love her so much. I feel so lucky to have her.  :frolic:
The photos do not do her justice. The shimmer makes her look pearlised and it's just so delicately pretty. :lovey:
The hair blend is wonderful and matches her body colours so well.
She's a lovely piece of work.

Her legs are so beautiful. I just love the airbrushing and the colors. Such a pretty pony.
