I just recently finished my deflock collection.  I never found oxyclean very helpful and wasn't able to find Jasco; so I just used a very hot water to get rid of most of the flocking and pure acetone and rubbing alcohol (for painted areas) for the glue residue.

My goodness breyer600 - they are gorgeous! I need to deflock my poor Twist, she's in horrible flocking that needs to be shed.

Send her to MEEEEE! Before I deflock mine who has... decent flocking...

I would have snapped pics of my deflocked (and now Twinkle Eyed) Gusty... but one of her eyes popped out while I was reattaching her head...  >_<  I'll snap a few when she dries...

So gorgeous!!!

I have finished my commission which started off this thread! I was thinking of posting on this thread once it arrives with its new owner, but that may be a while away (postage overseas etc!)

I knooooow! I think I've developed a bit of a 'soft' spot for Bangles now - she is such lovely colours - as is Buttons. I have a legit NSS Buttons, but she isn't the 3 button version... which... despite doubling up, I think I now really want as well!!

I'll check to make sure the person I did the commission for will be happy for me to post the illustration, and then I might stick it up at some point  ;)

Sorry - yet another reprise of this thread! But my commission that kicked it off has happily arrived in its new home, so now I can post it

It was a cool trade I did, and I was asked to do Bangles, and create a 'new' pony for the lovely person who requested it  :)

Here it is:

I'm happy to report that I only have to put the finishing touches on these two pegasus gals, then I can move on to the unicorns and earth ponies. I wanted to get the pegasi finished first, because when deflocking, all the little details in those wings are a hateful pain in the butt.

Only 2 unicorns and 4 earth ponies have to be completely deflocked start to finished, then about 8 or 9 more that need finishing and styling.

And remember, kids: It's always good to have a friend to lean on in case you lose your head :) visitors can't see pics , please register or login
