When I get home later I'll have to take a pic... I broke down last year at a thrift shop, there was a pirates of the caribbean messenger bag. It's my favorite "purse" thus far!

I wasn't really into the Jack Sparrow aspect of my bag when I found it, but I love the style of messenger bag it is. I wanted something that could hold my umbrella, my sketchbook, pencil bag, Nikon, wallet, and a bunch of other things without having a bajillion useless pockets, and it NEEDED to have some way to close the bag flap.

It also had to be able to withstand major abuse by me during my treks to conventions and artist alleys, and my locker at the part time job.

And yes, I collect fun buttons.

I used to carry a wallet attached to my keychain, but my husband made me get a normal wallet!  The girly ones were too big/useless so I went to the guy's department and just bought a generic wallet.  :blush:

I LOVE my tokidoki bags...I got a really good deal on one and the other was expensive... but I've been using them both for almost 4 years now and they still look great. One even survived an exploding pen disaster- I got all the ink out of the lining!

Oh crumbs, this US/UK terminology is gonna get confusing xD

For the longest time I never, ever carried a bag - just put my phone and, erm, wallet(?) into my front jeans pockets...until the zip on my wallet broke :( Now I couldn't do without my bag! It's a gorgeous, soft, tan leather, oversize one with a strap to wear accross the body. The base of it is circular, and the leather is so soft it can either squish up small to be shoved in lockers, or expand enough to fit all my junk in.

I lug it everywhere with me, usually containing my large wallet, kindle, a notebook or 2, my iPod and huge headphones, extra layers (scarf, gloves, light jacket), various feminine things and a little gluten-free packed lunch, just incase!

 I have a purse obcession now. But I am NOT spending all the money I want to on a Mulberry bag sadly. So I got a leather coach bag instead. Next best thing without all the c's on it right? lol!

Classy praire dog targets in the back.

 My priciest one yet but my wallet was able to come from the coach outlet! I want my bag in white to for the summer but chaz is not going for it.

And for some reason the link to my wallet will not pop up here nor will spell check work. will try in a minute. Its just a classic black leather.

I also have a handfull of different bags I use for different occasions, like tafe (school) and vacations away ect. but this is my "everyday" bag. And my wallet goes everywhere with me :D I get alot of comments on it too, I love it!

Feels rather silly and pointless doing this, but here's mine...  Nothing special, just a plain maroon nylon wallet with a Velcro seal.

Just realized though, I've been using this same one for around 23 years.  I bought it not long after my previous one was stolen at a mall in Oklahoma City back in 1988.  Wow!  I was 20 then.  Where have the years gone?

My Sherlock Holmes inspired purse (Inspired by the original Doyle books! I'm more of a BBC fan, but I'm slowly reading through the books, so this is still awesome).

I don't have it yet, right now I have a cute little purse I made on my own, but I don't have pictures sadly.
It's got a key to 221 Baker street, a tea bag, a little crown and apparently a magnifying glass somewhere.
I can't wait!
