I have been very good so far, I almost caved this weekend when a pal called me from Walmart saying one of the G4s I was looking for was there.  She tried to convince me that if she bought it, I didn't really break my pony buying ban.  It was very tempting but I resisted!!! Yay for self control!

I alllllllllmost bought ponies on Saturday!  Eep!  If there had been a fashion style AJ, I'd have snatched her right up.

This photo is now going on my phone and I will force myself to look at it before considering a pony purchase for the rest of the month, and maybe even next month.  These have been sitting around for months, waiting to be cleaned.  I need to take care of what I have before adding to the pile!

Is everyone getting some quality cleaning and Salon time out of thier ponies?  Except those of you who have ponies in storage, of course...

I have been honestly too busy with family things to even really think about ponies this last week or so.  I guess that helps.  I keep debating with myself over how to buy ponies online once I am able to, but I still don't have an answer for that.  It's just been too long, I think.

Eskara1862, great idea about the photo. I did break down and buy all the wave 1's plus some baits, but I am now adding an extra week to my challenge. I do have an ad for a pony I need for a swap. Ok, Salli. Recommit. (I have been training for a half-marathon as well, so I am feelin double the pressure.)

So far so good ^_^ Not one MH doll or MLP has been purchased!! Feeling pretty good so far.

Though it's also why I'm not on here as much...removing the temptation.

Been counting my savings for the uk ponycon it makes it so much easier when you know exactly what money you're saving!

I haven't been completely good I'm afraid. In April I've snatched up Baby Licorice, a Frankie and 2 records for my collection as well as a vintage Mlp comic... not buying toys and collectibles was a lot harder than I thought!

I have however learned to stay away from random impulse purchases, and in future I think I'll find it a lot easier to stick to things that are actually on the wishlist. So this challenge has been a succes either way.

Okay, technically my husband bought them but still!  I should NOT have looked in the toy aisle!    I looked at Monster High and talked myself out of a number of dolls (Purrsephone and Meowlody!) but somehow the ponies ended up in the basket!  GAHHHHHHH...  I'm not even supposed to like G4s.
