They're adorable!  Back in my day, we were in between the 90s uniform and the present one.. I used to wear the 90s sweater with the present day t-shirts and the sash, even after the changeover! Rebel child.

Hello, my name is Lavender and I am a hobby-o-holic.    I have so many, really more hobbies than time.  However other than being a mom and taking care of my kiddos, I read a lot, do nutrition research, costuming, make boutique children's clothing, fabric and felt applique, crazy quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, jewelry making, textile art, decorative interior painting (like murals and faux finishing), cook a lot (mostly vegan/vegetarian and bread baking), and as a family we love hiking national parks.  I also dabble in photography, but my camera sucks so that's another one of these days when I get a better camera type hobbies.  I would love to take up leather working, but it's out of my price range right now to invest in yet another hobby.  One of these days I'll get around to blogging about my recipes, but that's another thing I haven't found the time for.

I think we need to start a club, because I was just going to say the same thing. I also have more hobbies than time. I've actually suffered from hobby burnout because of this!

Aside from collecting ponies, here are a few things I do:

I do Yoshukai Karate, I bead, craft, used to do ceramics, cross stitch, (want to learn quilting), cook, read, and play video games.  I love to do anything crafty...

I also write, and I've done...3 novels and one is being worked on with DH. (ok, more like ten are being worked on with DH, but they aren't close to being done yet, lol) I also to a writing-based role play on Avalon, though I haven't been on in a while...everyone keeps wanting me to come back, but I've been busy, lol. 

Oh yeah, and I collect Breyers and Grand Champions, and OMG PONIES!  xD  betcha no one else has that hobby around here >.>  <.<




And I love to dance.  =]  Country western and trying to learn some other styles.

I hunt fossils in the back yard , they are all Devonian ones though we were once a shallow sea over where i live. I also like to raise moths and butterflies when i find the caterpillars.

history is very important to me, so i read and research obsessively. i am working on a large heavy research project for a book i am writing. part new orleans history. part biography of a building. i spend a lot of time in libraries and archives!

i play the accordion.

I collect various things (MLP, Barbie, Disney, X-Men, LLL, chihuahua/dog stuff, and some Harry Potter) And I love to draw I don't really come up with personas or OC's, I like to draw fan art ^_^ I also love to bake and deocorate cakes and cookies Something I grew up doing with my mom

I can't seem to stop with the hobbies. Once I finish one, I just move onto something else, lol.

And thanks for the kind words on the fraggles. I love fraggles too! My husband helped a lot with those. He's MUCH better at crafts than I am. It gives us something to do together. Right now, he and I are using our rainy nights making ourselves a pony plush. After that, Wembley Fraggle. Although I'm sort of dreading it. I bought all the materials, but I know he won't turn out right. I've been working on the planning of his pattern since 2010. :O

I have to give major kudos to ANYONE who can do a craft. I'm more of the drawing sort of person. I struggle when it comes to craft stuff. My stuff often looks fine in photographs, but when you get close to it, it looks sloppy ! lol!
