The pony is a lie (GLaDOS pony) Update!

So I finally started on a custom! I am going to be doing Wheatley next. However, to start I have begun on GLaDOS. She isn't finished yet and I am not even sure I want to keep the eye she has now. I would love some feedback on her, thanks everypony! I still need to buy hair or sculpt something but here she is for now .

Okay! Finally got off my butt and took pictures of the new eyes. I have been having health problems and thus my progress has slowed to a crawl. However, I would still love feedback from people on her. Thanks in advance!

DD's opinion: "cool.  I want her."  I like the pattern too.  Going back and forth on the eye.  It could work well, depending on what you do hairwise.  No ideas there, though.  Mush brain...

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that you like her and her pattern . I tried multiple things before deciding on that one. Ha ha, don't worry about the mush brain, happens to us all. I'm just thrilled that for a first time custom pony she's liked so far . I should be getting hair in soon to finish her and probably redo the eye. The more I look at it I want to get my lines cleaner.

I think it you clean up the top eye line she would be lovely.  As to hair, I like the lack of mane and think just a tail would be the right balance.  Nicely painted.

Yeah, that's amazing. Keep her design JUST like that. No hair, no tail, she is perfect. I love how clean she looks. Just like GLaDOS would be. (Though I do agree with cleaning up the top eye line )But one tiny critcism (Constructive!) wasn't GLaDOS' eye red? Not that she doesn't look fab as she is! Just trying to remember Great work!

Edit: NO! It's NOT red! I was thinking of the CAMERAS she uses to WATCH you. THOSE have red eyes. So...she kinda has red eyes. By proxy

I love all of the game-based ponies I've been seeing!
She's perfect! You could always use really stiff thinned out black or silver hair that looks like wires, like when she was a potato hehe just a thought.
Can't wait to see Wheatley!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments on her and the input  . It is wonderfully encouraging to get such feedback and comments for my first ever custom. In fact, my brother looked at her today and said "Cool, now how about using some of the other smaller ones you have and making ALL the cores?"


I thought it was an excellent idea so I am going to go for it! Be on the look out for Wheatley, Fact, Rick and Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!

Thank you so much! And yes, I'm gonna be doing Wheaters next. I even have hair on the way in for GLaDOS and Wheatley. I can hardly wait to get started on him. He's gonna be smaller than her because he's a core, not the god of Aperture .


Update:


I have wiped the eye and reapplied the pearl shine to her so I can try again. I wish I didn't have to do that extra step every time I muss the eye up but oh well, that's what happens when you use acetone to wipe mistakes. It eats right through the sealant. That stuff is a beast o_0.


Wheatley is also completely dehaired and cleaned ready to start after GLaDOS is done.
