As soon as I got home, I cleaned all the "mildew ponies" I got...once I finish their hair, I'll post before and after pictures in a new thread!

Also a HUGE thank you to everyone who gave me McDonalds ponies! I am so incredibly jazzed to get started on all of them!

Elisto, I'm cleaning my mildew ponies right now too! I forgot to take before pics, but all I've done so far is soak them. I'll take pics before I get to scrubbing, since the water soak has done next to nothing for the poor things.

Hey guys,

If you took mildewy ponies, make sure you take their heads off! I think the lady who gave them to me left little surprises inside hoping people would find them. She asked me to show her how to take their heads off and was trying to put gumballs inside (in wrappers, obviously). I told her the gumballs were probably a bad idea because it would be annoying to try to get them out before cleaning the ponies. At least one pony still has a gumball in it, I'm pretty sure.

Anyway, I doubt whatever's in there would hurt the ponies, but just to be on the safe side take it out first!

Besides that, I've cleaned up a few of them myself and some of them are really nasty inside!

None of mine were that nasty inside. However, in every single adult I got, and one of the three baby ponies, I found rolled up devotional papers!! (And my Firefly was missing her tail washer, so I had to fix her tail)

They really did clean up pretty well though, for the most part. They're drying now. The hair on the ones I took was really in nice shape, just needed a comb. I have one baby though who has no symbol?! I have no idea who it is since I don't even care much for the babies.

We had so much fun at the meet and want to thank everyone for making us feel welcome! Everyone was so nice. Jewel and the committee did a great job. We had a great time and got some awesome ponies. We were sad to leave before the end, but the baby couldn't last any longer. Thanks again for letting us be part of this awesome event!

Thanks for a great time guys my friend Lindsey went home with a huge bag full of ponies! I had a blast too I'm now inspired to make tons of customs!

and Corpsy if you need more g3 McD ponies I come across them all the time if you send me your shipping info I'll send all the ones I come across your way

I haven't started cleaning my mildew ponies yet I bought them mostly for bait kinda wish I took more though.

I sold just about all my extra G3 at the flea market today so I'm going to have to hit the goodwills rather hard before the next meet. Any one still need blind bag display shelves? I have two left

Hi everyone!!

First, I want to thank my committee and all the extra help they managed to pull in this year in order to get this meet off the ground with many missing committee members, a month less of planning, and fickle weather to deal with. You are all troopers, and likewise you are all invaluable to the meet's success. Personally and from the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you.

There is so much to report on this meet, especially the record-breaking numbers! As many of you know, I had to help my grandmother's 90th birthday gala AND a neighborhood cookout yesterday (how am I conscious? God only knows!), but I will work on getting my photos and reviews posted as soon as I can.

As always, it was wonderful to see so many old friends, and to meet some new attendees as well! I hope you all had a great time, and it was nothing short of wonderful to spend a day celebrating ponies with all of you.
