Pic of the New US Mcdonalds Ponies!

I feel that this is a little strange. Usually they release toys like this when a big event comes around like a movie or an anniversary or it's a seasonal type of thing. Did they just need a filler or something? Because I think I would be releasing some ponies with tacky little wedding accessories since the big thing this year is the wedding, or at least some spring accessories.


Above speech aside, I am very thrilled, Cheerilee and Lily Blossom are unexpected since I thought it would just be the mane 6. I'm hoping Lily Blossom gets more recognition and maybe appear in the show, she is absolutely gorgeous<3

Actually, McD has been having MLPs as their March toy for several years on and off now.  I'm so glad they have continued with it! 

2005: 8 early G3 MLPs with brushable manes
2007: 8 Ponyville type ponies
2009: 8 of the Core 7 G3s (w/ MINTY!) with the henna designs and brushable tails
2010: 6 of the core 7 G3.5 style ponies with brushable tails
2011: 8 FIM ponies with brushable tails

And Lily Blossom does seem like a very random addition. I'm not complaining, as I do like her and she is the most different of the selection from last time, but it does seem random.

I thought that too, but then I remembered Lily Blossom and Cheerilee were the first two Playful Ponies besides the Mane 6 to be released (they were in Wave 2, I think).

I keep hearing March and only March... so I'd assume it's March! Only two weeks away at this point... my younger sister works at a McD's so I have relatively easy access when they do arrive.

I have to have Lily Blossom!

I wish they had sculpted tails (no frizzy!) but I'm still very happy with this set, as I missed last year's, and I srsly need McDonald's ponies in my life. There's just something about them I love.

In Ottawa, I missed the original run so I can't speak on avaliability at mcdicks, but I do know Value villages across Ontario had them in their toybags, So i can make an assumption that yes Canada will be getting them.

As an aside this March is going to be an exciting one for me.. March third is my 25th birthday- Two twilight sparkle related items I ordered are gonna arrive first week of march, my custom is scheduled to be done around march third, Mc donalds is releasing their ponies around that time, and a rave falling right on my birthday. I think the first week of march is going to whizz by with ponies and alcohol... Win.

The date they come out is march 8 i think unless someplace releses them early
