It sounds like you've made your decision, but my vote would be to not bait him. He sounds better than my Steamer (lipstick stains? Check. Frizzy dry faded hair? Check. Badly rubbed symbols, marker stains, pen on the bottom of his feet? Check, check, and check!) and I know he could be fixed up...G1s are getting harder and harder to find, and it's sad to see restorable old ponies baited. I'd love to fix him up. But ultimately it is your pony and your decision...I just hope that if you're going to ruin a big brother pony, you make a really awesome custom out of him! :P
