Greetings, Dollyhair thread. Is it... normal for an order to take more than 2 weeks to arrive? I know Tina just had a baby (which I can empathize with), and the literature on her site says her email has been backed up over a week. I'm just not sure if the email is a Q&A inbox or if it includes all of the orders as well.

It's fine if it's gonna take a little longer! I'm just making sure my order is not lost or something!

I don't know Saply...I'm starting to wonder about the email too. I completly understand about having a new baby too! The last order I placed seemed like it took a couple weeks to get but I didn't get a hank of hair that I paid for  I really needed it for a swap that I'm in.  I've emailed her about it a couple times and still haven't heard from her. I hope everything is okay!!

Yes, it's not at all strange for it to take that long, at least in my experience. Sometimes it's a week or more before the order is even shipped. I actually received an order today. I placed the order on May 12th, it shipped on the 17th and arrived today.

yeah she put the wrong color in one of my blends ... so it's way lighter than I wanted the blend to be, and she never responded to my email either

I'm sorry if this is too personal a question, but did you pay via credit card? I placed my order on the 7th and haven't received a shipping confirmation yet, but I used PayPal (I'm also aware that sometimes shipping confirmation is never sent, and orders have a tendency to show up in the mail when you're least expecting them ). That might explain the delay.

I think I remember reading that it's easier on the owner and to fulfill orders if you pay by credit card, so I'll do that from now on and continue to wait it out. After all, she could have easily shut down the site for a few months and screwed us all, but instead she's still up and running. I don't mind the wait and I really appreciate her!

I used paypal, sorry. If you haven't received a shipping confirmation then it probably hasn't shipped. Hmm...maybe there's a problem with one of the colors you ordered. I do think that something similar happened to me before where it took two or three weeks to ship, but I can't remember for sure. I hope it works out!

update; oh, i didn't know that sometimes the confirmation isn't sent. Hmm...

Thanks for the info! It was actually just one hank (Lucky Clover), so it's not like I'm out a whole lot of money if something did happen, I just need it to finish a custom. It's my fault anyways for not ordering enough to begin with. (Only one hank for a Fashion Style? Am I insane???)
