More new ponies in August!

I'm trying to figure out who that Fashion Style Princess is. At first, I thought it would be Princess Cadance, but when I actually looked at it, it looks a lot more like Luna (eye color, etc.). Looking closer it looks like Rarity's hair (no tinsel)... maybe it's just a messed up prototype. It's got me awfully confused (and a little excited!).

I'm thinking that they're going to be re-releasing Fashion Style Luna and Celestia in colors of the variants some people have been finding of them on Taobao. If so, I'm really kicking myself that I already own the Target exclusive versions with that awful tinsel.

Only 2 Glimmer Wings Characters- I'm happy about Daisy Dreams, don't need Fluttershy, but was hoping they'd release Rainbow Flash in Glimmer Wings form as well.

Everything else I'm kinda 'meh' about as they seem to be re-releases of characters I already have.

I think you may be right. If you compare the taobao luna with the picture of the new luna fashion style, you can see the hair is the same.

I think you may be right. If you compare the taobao luna with the picture of the new luna fashion style, you can see the hair is the same.

Ugh I hate how Hasbro makes everything look metallic in their photos when it's actually not. I would looove a metallic Styling Luna. I hope everyone is right, while I like my tinsel haired luna, I'd definitely pop for the white celestia.

I don't know. I'm still kind of excited to see this stuff hit stores. The new single brushables look beyond cheesy but EIGHTEEN CHARACTERS? Seriously? PLEASE tell me that's not a typo. That leaves room for 12 characters who are NOT the mane six. Sweetie Blue? MINTY? Please tell me one of the 12 is Minty, Hasbro. Maybe even....dare I say it...a boy?

They won't start releasing boys until after the prince is out. The wedding set won't be released until August, according to current intel, so we're looking at September or October at the earliest. This means there may be a chance that they could show up in the last wave of the year, but they could just as easily hold off until next year and push the bride/groom angle through Christmas. At least, that's what I think.

C'mon, Hasbro, look. The way I see it, parents who purchased MLP for their kids last Xmas will not want to buy the same ponies again for them this Xmas. Please, I beg, can we have background characters as brushables?
