I restarted and I am a lot happier.  The base I picked was just too difficult to work with.  There was no way to get it how I had envisioned.  There is still plenty of time.  I like my new design much better.

but i'm just concerned with all the sculpting i've done >_<; it'd be a waste! i'm giving it one more day before I call it quits... Btw. Is it possible for gesso to go off? I've had it in the jar for over a year now...
