 Here is the post that I'm sure many of you have been waiting for
 
 2012 Maryland Pony Meet Custom Contest

Sign ups are now closed!
 
 After the vote of the Pony Meet committee, we have decided that this year's theme will be:
 
 Candy Ponies
 
 Make your ponies into something sweet. For this year's contest, you can use your imagination and skills to make your pony into your favorite candy. There isn't much to say about this theme, so use your imaginations to grab up the first place slot. As usual, the winners will be determined by votes from the meet attendees.
 
 
 Rules
 
 Yes, there are rules attached with this. Every contest and game has to have rules, right?
 
 1. This contest is only open to people who are attending the 2012 Maryland Pony meet in April. You'd be surprised how many messages I get every year from people who aren't going to be there and want to join.
 
 2. Each attendee may enter up to 2 customs. You may come to me by the register deadline and tell me you're making 2 if you had originally told me 1, or vice versa.
 
 3. You must message me and tell me that you'll be entering the contest. You have until Wednesday, April 25th to let me know if you'll be entering or not. The only information you need to provide is how many customs you'll be entering. The easiest way is to simply send me a message on here or on the MLPTP at the same name. You can also email me at  xxpepperberryxx @ gmail.com
 
 4. I WILL NOT be accepting any last minute entries. If you come to the meet and hand me a custom and I don't have your name down, then I'm sorry.. I will not enter you. I ask people to register for a reason.

I LOVE ALL candy...well all CHOCOLATE candy...


Reeses, Kit Kat, Take 5, Twix, etc etc...you name it. Love White chocolate too...


I have to think on this one coz I really want to enter!

Candy, huh? Hmmmmm... going to start working on rough sketches tonight for a custom design then, and researching different candies.

I know what I want to make. I have print outs of the candy & the bait picked out but....I've been in a funk & havent done any customs in many many months.
Needs to kick own butt into gear.

I finished my custom for this contest I'm nervous and excited this particular custom took me longer than any other pony I've done so far

What a fun theme.   Someday I will have to make the trip from MO to MD.  The MD meet seems like it would be a blast.  Have fun, guys!
