I did a quick count of them and came up with around 30 or so G1s. I also have a big brown My Pretty Pony, a nursery and dream castle plus a few other things.

This sounds intriguing... I have never been to that show but I think it's one some friends were talking about last year. Are there a lot of people selling 80's toys or is it mostly more antique or expensive stuff?

Wish I could make a trip to Belleville again soon. I used to go to their monthly flea marketat the fair grounds. I found SO MANY awesome ponies from that place. This couple had a booth with tons of 80s toys and always had MLPs that I needed. I'd love to go see what they have. It's been a couple of years since I've been there.

I work that weekend. Too bad I won't be able to make it.

The flea market has more organized sellers with higher priced items, but on a whole it's very very cheap. This is really more like a big yard sale in one place with people selling off their extras, although there are usually some of the flea market people there too.

Really? There's always one lady with her manky bin of ponies, but other than that I haven't had much luck the last few times.

Yeah, I haven't found luck at the flear market the past times I've been... Maybe for about the first year that I discovered it did I actually have decent luck.  Now, I agree... there's pretty much one lady that's outside that has her bin of (in my opinion) overly priced ponies for the commonality (is that a word?) and condition they're in.  Every once in a great while I'll find something...but I usually walk out empty handed.  I can't spend a lot of time in there anyway, because I can't stand the flea market crowds.  People walking slowly and in the middle of the aisles so I can't pass really irritates me, lol.

You can find pretty much anything here. You never know what you might find.

I used to find all my g1s here years ago back in the 90s early 2000s. They pop up now and then but only a couple at a time. I know the exact person you are talking about. We kind of know them. Her husbands name is Brad. They have had those ponies for so many years now they are starting to take less for them. I think they are getting tired of them. They aren't in the best of condition though.  Some are some what decent. I have gotten some neat pony items from them in the past for a good price but watch them. They get there prices from the old Debra Birge pony book. That is why prices are so high.

So are we all thinking of the same person....when you are standing in front of the building, they are usually outside on the left down that pavilion outside? They have everything 80s toys related.....TONS of stuff.

They are overpriced, but I got my MO Mommy Pony from them for $30 which I thought was a steal.

I also found my Tux N' Tails there (from a different seller) for like....fifty cents or a dollar? I also got SS Angel there with tons of other nice ponies for $2 each.
I had better luck there about seven or eight years ago when I was starting to collect hardcore again. I haven't been there in about two or three years there. Sounds like it isn't as great as it once was, though. Heck, it's just hard to find G1s in general now. I miss being able to come home from a big flea market like that with tons of ponies.

Yep it's that lady. She is apparently infamous xD All her G1's are covered in ugly blue marker stains, I've rescued and sunfaded a few but it's a lot of work for the mint condition prices she charges. They don't seem to understand "condition" at all. They think filthy stained ponies are worth the same as the mint ones the books price.
