Dear Leekeworld,
For the 2011 winter red box event, one of the heads sent out was called "unsold head"

With the recent release of "Ronald" I have noticed that they both look the same. Is the "unsold head" Ronald?"





So it's a slight sad to know that my rare doll that I was so proud of owning is not as rare as i thought it was
BUT I still own the first and my certificate will say "unsold head" instead of Ronald. That and he's just flat out gorgeous anyway, but it's still a bit of a downer.

Aww man, I'm sorry to hear that was the case  . However, you do still have a beautiful doll and you are so right about the certificate. Really, the face up you got on yours makes me want to get one WAY more than the pictures on Leeke.

The default face-up on Leeke looks horrible in my eyes, I'd never buy that doll from those pics... But the one knibitz owns is truly stunning and I would buy her version

You hit the nail on the head there! If I may, which of the typically 'ugly' have you had and made gorgeous? I have always been firmly in the realm of a little paint goes a long way and if you have pictures of them I'd love to see!


Also, oh my god oh my god oh my god! Andreja e-mailed me a quote today! That means she'll be getting to my sard as soon as I send the money! Eeeee! I can hardly wait to see him finished. I just know that the cost to do it will be well worth it  .


And since we are still on the topic of face painting and lovelies, here's an image of another beauty I have in the works. He's getting painted by a friend and I hope that she'll have him done soon.

I love andreja's work but I could never convince myself to ship a head to aussie land just for a face up ;;  Girl needs to move state-side


As far as uglies made pretty, I can't take credit for the face ups, as these are both dolls I both dolls I bought from my bestie, but I put them together with eyes/wigs/clothes and gave got them to shine to their top potentional.

He's still kinda ugly, but I've really learned to work with angles with him. You just can't take a straight on shot, but he has a lovely profile

and LASTLY my doll in mind archernar, hardly anyone owns this boy! and the only one I've seen that I've liked was super goth, but me makes just a gorgeous natural boy too. Sadly I sold him a while ago He was on a 70cm DOI body and it drove me crazy

It was an interesting game of stalk her blog to even get a slot o_0. I totally agree she needs to move state side because if I totally fall in love with what she does on my sard, I might be in trouble because I'll need another one by her. 



Oh wow, you know some of them I had never heard of, (like the Warrick, stunning by the way) and others I have NEVER seen look good! They are all wonderful though. Did you ever see Sims archernar ? He was the first one I ever saw and really, I fell in love with. Kinda funny looking but boy when they are treated right can they ever shine. Also, totally loving on your heath and Summery right now  . They are both so beautiful and I totally agree that most of the heath defaults were a little ick.

I feel like I have some of the unappreciated ones too. For example, my nanuri 07. It's weird, I love the luts event heads but they just don't get enough love.
