Just checking in again :)
I am waiting on a couple of ponies, and I have another couple on hold. I have just gone out and bought some easter things, and my box is just waiting on ponies :)

Sooo..... with this swap being an Easter Swap, there is probably going to be a fair bit of chocolate being shipped...... should we worry about it melting?  Anyone have any tips of how to package it that don't take up too much space? my little box is bulging at the seams as is.....

I always put choccie either in zip lock bags or some sort of containers so if it does happen to melt, at least it's contained. There isn't anything you can do to avoid it melting unfortunately.

Seabreeze - Congrats on the mod position :) I am sure you will do an awesome job.

Wow your lot must be slack where you are, easter stuff has been out at coles & safeway (woolworths) here since about christmas, although they started stocking more stuff just this week here. I also found tonnes of easter stuff at bigw & target, didn't look at kmart. Worst case scenario just get something else (if your partner likes pineapple flavour, pineapple lumps! Those things are awesome :P and we only had them here for about 2 minutes a few years ago)

Spinky - thanks for letting us all know! I did catch something from her saying that she was on dial up or something? Just haven't been on much, might try to drop her a pm on fb, ive been unfortunately flat out this week, either tafe, meeting with friend, something family related or sleeping lol. Alot of naps in between too, don't know how I am going to cope without my naps during tafe days.

I wonder if the shops have restrictions on when they can put the Easter stuff out.  I'm sure it will be out soon.

Paints, if you ever need pineapple lumps sent over, just let me know!  (:  I sent some to a friend in the US recently and she sent me lollies from over there.

Flipping delicious lol - they are like small pineapple flavoured marshmallow type stuff with a real light coat of chocolate, I ate so many bags of the stuff when I was in NZ, its so yummy. That and jet planes (aeroplane shaped soft lollies). And Frank (soft drink) - the blood orange one  and L&P (lemonade type soft drink). All delicious, I swear I was kiwi in a past life lol.

I reckon I've had those Pineapple lumps before, but they were really hard & chewy, not nice, they must have been stale if they are supposed to be soft like marshmallow?

Meg they are either soft or chewy :) I'm not sure what governs the difference, possibly temperature or best before date. I dont actually know what they are meant to be. I prefer them chewy myself

There a few eggs starting to hit the shops here now, but not the big fancy ones.  Just a few marshmallow and little choc ones... I'm still stalking my letterbox for ponys ;)  I've got some fantastic ponys Foalpatrol! and the kids and I have a great idea for you :)  Exciting.
