"Alice in Deadland", by Mainak Dhar.

It's... different. But since I've started reading it, I have to now finish it. I'm stubborn like that. Even if I don't like a book I'm reading, I HAVE to finish reading it.

I'm reading Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook. :p I'm not really that interested in RPG gaming but tis research! I'm helping a friend start up an RPG club on campus and they all want to play pathfinder. ... I'm sick of being out of the loop.. tis boring and I feel like an idiot sitting there not knowing what they are talking about.

I put down "The Spark" mid-book and started reading a book I received for free called "The Cross and the Switchblade." Interesting read, so far.

I'm reading Firebringer and I'm also reading Wolf Speaker in the Circle of Magic series. I've read both several times before.

The "Dragonlance Chronicles"!  My friend turned me onto the series and I'm really enjoying it... but, I love me some fantasy literature! :)

DragonLance is wonderful^^ I recently got a friend at work into them myself. Gotta tell ya, you're in for a long haul. There are a lot of books in that series.

I'm reading "The Silmarillion", which is practically Tolkien's bible to the Lord of the Rings universe :') I've read it once before, but there's just so much information at once that it probably can't be understood on any level from just one read through. But what I did get from just reading it once has done so much to enrich his other writings on Middle Earth! It's incredible, what this guy had in his mind.

I just finished all 3 of the Hunger Games books. You guys should check them out! Really great books and the movie comes out in March!

Oh me too!! I loved them!!! I was a little dissappointed with the last one but i'll leave it at that. I can't wait for the movie though!!

I just finished the first book! I really want to splurge and buy the other two, but I'm trying to be good and not go overboard on book buying. Maybe I'll borrow it from the library instead. ;)

I am reading The Darkest Surrender by Gena Showalter. It's part of her Lords of the Underworld series and I adore her books.

Steven Erikson's Gardens of the Moon at the moment.  I needed a new series to read after devouring the Song of Ice and Fire series just before the holidays.

A Dance with Dragons by George R.R. Martin. Its the fifth book in his Song of Ice and Fire series  :)

Hubby just finished that one, he really seemed to like it.

I'm on the... 3rd (I think) book of the Wheel of Time series. It's good :)

In the middle of A Dance with Dragons.

Wheel of Time is one of my all time favorites. There's a few books that can drag in the middle of the series. They pick up again later. Can't wait for the final book, #14. I think Brandon Sanderson has done a great job.

BTW, great topic! Thanks for starting.

I have had such a difficult time with The Silmarillion. Did you read it straight through or stop and start?
