Personal Interview-Where did you get your user name?It's my old AOL screen name from back in the 90s. My first name and the numbers in the username suggestions from AOL instant messenger.

Do you go to school or work?I work as a software engineer
What are your hobbies?Besides collecting ponies I like to cook and build website things. I'm getting more into gardening.
Do you have any pets?I have 3 dogs
What do you like/dislike about yourself?I'm a good cook
I think i'm good at being empathetic. I'm trying to work on worrying less.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?Probably Amsterdam NL. i've never been there but i love the idea of not having to own a car and being able to ride a bike everywhere.
Do you collect anything other than ponies?I collect vintage LPS Care Bears, and Little Pretties. I also want to start collecting more vintage cocktail glasses.
Ponies-How long have you been collecting ponies?about 12 years off and on.
Why did you start collecting ponies?It started with me trying to replace the Care Bears my mom gave away when i was a kid. my husband got tired of me complaining about it and told me to just go on eBay and replace them. So i decided to also get a My Little Pony. The first was Little Flitter, then Princess Serena, Tiffany etc. My husband probably regrets telling me to replace my Care Bears
Who is your favorite pony and why?Mint Dreams. I just think she's pretty. I like the curls and her coloring.
Who is your least favorite pony and why?Probably the mermaid ponies. Maybe they're cuter in person.
Who is your favorite pony from another country?Nightlight
Who is your favorite fakie?I like the Crumpet pose ones. I don't have any though.
Who was your first pony?Little Flitter was the first one i bought when i started collecting.
What pony did you get recently?Baby Leaper
What is your favorite generation?G1 but I also love G2
What is your favorite part about collecting?The hunt. Tracking down my grail ponies is fun.
How big is your collection?About 350
What do your friends and family think about your collection?Most people don't care. I mostly keep it private. My parents don't seem to care all that much.
Do you still play with your ponies?Mostly i just like to look at them. Sometimes i comb their hair.
What rare or popular pony makes you ask why!?I'm not that into the Piggy ponies. I might get one someday but they're so expensive. Some of them are kind of cute.
If you had to have a pony symbol tattooed on your butt, which would you pick and why?hmm maybe Thundercloud. I like thunderstorms.
If you could have any pony remade in a different generation, who would you choose and why?g2 Nightlight would be pretty
What has been the worst part about collecting?Ponies are so much more expensive than they used to be. It's harder to find lots for reasonable prices.
What is your ultimate collecting goal?To have all the "non-Nirvana" G1 ponies and all G2 ponies
What is your biggest collecting accomplishment?I finally have Brazilian Heartthrob
What is your biggest collecting regret?selling some hard to find Nirvanas. but since i needed the money i don't regret too much. life happens
i do regret selling most of my petite ponies. they're hard to find these days.
Who is your grail pony and why?Do you have it?
Probably Princess Royal Blue with glow in the dark hair. I don't have her. Maybe someday when I'm actively growing my collection I'll track one down. She's so expensive though.

Are you a customizer?Would you ever be?No. i'm not good at painting or art projects. I would ruin a pony.
What do you think of custom ponies?I like them but don't have too many.
What are acceptable and unacceptable pony flaws, in your opinion?I depends on how rare the pony is. Usually obvious haircuts and general griminess and stickiness are deal breakers for me.
